After two and a half years, three line up changes, four tours, one EP, one Full length album, one sampler, countless demos, acquiring over 6,000 Myspace friends, being featured on Skwozjamm Records ‘Fist Full Of Punk Vol.1’, 750,304,230 cans of Wild Turkey, 1,254,245,768 beers, 14 fights and an unbelievable amount of good times, Floating Roach Finally have begun working on their second full length album currently titled “The White Woolly Wolf Gives It The Beans”.

After recently touring through snow ridden Tasmania and (Drummer) Matt’s home state, South Australia in June/July ’08 this now four piece from Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs are looking forward to ripping up the rest of Australia. “Our Music is fast, loud and shit and that’s the way we like it”.

Mark (Bass) In True D.I.Y. Punk Style the band recorded, mix, mastered, produced and distributed their first two releases, a 10 track Ep called “The Worst $4 You’ll Ever Spend” (2006) and a 17 track full length LP “Enjoy” (2007). “The Worst $4 You’ll Ever Spend” was recorded by the band in a drunken midnight rampage at Bundoora’s Jet’s Studios. The band was very disappointed with the poor quality of the record and decided to give the CD away for free to people through www.mp3.com.au/floatingroach. The second release “Enjoy” was recorded in a small rehearsal room over five days.
